I often talk to other Principals at other charter schools and district schools. As I do so, I'm greatful for the support that our parents, teachers and board provide. I feel that all the major stakeholders in our school are united and working toward a common goal of the best education possible for all students at our school. Thank you.
As winter is here already we ask that you make sure that students are brining their coats to school, especially those who have to go to recess. It is also very important to make sure that students are getting a healthy, good breakfast to prepare them for the day.
As it is getting dark and students are not able to stay outside as late as other times during the year, it seems like the perfect opportunity to increase the reading that is taking place. I have also read that students who see their parents reading will be more likely to also be readers. If you take the time to model this process it will help your students be more motivated to read.

We are trying to improve our volunteer coordination between parents and the school. We are moving many of these efforts to electronic communication. We are just barely trying this new method. As you go through the process, we ask for your help and input with our new process. This should be updating daily so please check back often.
Please click here to see the current volunteer needs.
If you wish to volunteer for one of these needs click to fill out this form. You will be contacted by the school to confirm your willingness and arrange times if necessary or be told that the need has already been filled. We will do our best to keep this up to date so that it this doesn't happen very often.
