A: At Lincoln Academy we closely follow the Alpine School District calendar, with a few variations. The School Calendar provides additional information.

A: No.

A: No. Parents must arrange to transport their children to and from school each day. Car pool information may be exchanged on the bulletin board to help families make carpool arrangements.
Q: Are school lunches provided?
A: Yes, lunches may be purchased from Lunch Boxers, who caters daily lunches for Lincoln Academy. Menu and ordering information may be found in the School Lunch section.
Q: Does Lincoln Academy have any sports teams?
A: Charter school students generally participate in city-related sports programs based on their city of residence. However, the school allows and encourages the formation of after-school, parent- or teacher-led clubs and/or teams.
Q: How much volunteer time is required from each family?

A: The school does not operate on the extended-day or year-round model.
Q: How does the school make admission and placement decisions?
A: Each family desiring entrance for their children submits an application for enrollment. For each grade with 50 or fewer applicants, all are admitted. For grades with more than 50 applicants, students are chosen by lottery.
Q: How do I enroll my child?
A: During open enrollment, you may fill out and mail your application. You may also submit an application directly from this website. After open enrollment, please pick up an application and bring it to the school.
Q: What type of teachers do you have? Are they certified?
A: Lincoln Academy hires teachers who are certified and are committed to support the mission of the school.
Q: How much is tuition? Are there any other costs?
A: No tuition is charged. We do ask parents to donate money to the school each year. This can be done through school fundraisers, donations to the classroom, or cash donations directly to the school. Since the school is a non-profit organization, all donations may be tax-deductible.
