It’s time to ask a BIG QUESTION and present your results at Lincoln Academy’s Science Fair!
Lincoln Academy Science Fair will be held Friday, February 6, 2009. Some projects may need to be set up after school on Thursday the 5th. Judging will be held during school hours. Grand prize winners will receive prizes; all participants will receive a ribbon. Winners in grades 5-9 will go on to the charter schools fair.
The Charter Schools Science Fair will be held at Utah Valley University the evening of February 18, 2009. Winners of the charter schools fair will be invited to the Central Utah Science and Engineering Fair.
The Central Utah Science and Engineering Fair will be held at Brigham Young University March 23-26, 2009. Grand prize winners in the elementary and junior divisions will be nominated to compete in the Society for Science & the Public Middle School Program. Grand prize winners in the senior division at the Central Utah Science and Engineering Fair will receive an all-expense paid trip to Reno, Nevada to attend the 2009 Intel International Science & Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), where they will compete for over $3 million in scholarships and prizes.
