Important Dates

Thursday, August 13th : Back to School Night.
Elementary students 5-7 pm, Jr. High students 6-8 pm.
New family meeting at 5:30 to answer some of your questions.

August 17-19th: Assessments for elementary students (excluding kindergarteners) and Jr High students.

Thursday, August 20th : 1st day of school!!
(Kindergarten will start later but they will have testing that week.)

Thanks for a great year. Our parents, teachers and students worked together to help each student progress. Thank you to the families for the countless hours of support with student homework, volunteer hours, class parties, field trips, and all the other myriads of things you do to make Lincoln Academy a great place to be. We are looking forward to another great year next year. I'm excited to see familiar faces and meet new students in August.

At Lincoln, we strive to educate the whole student. Everyday we set aside time for reading, math, writing, science, and social studies . Weekly students are instructed in Art by parents and teachers; additionally we have specialists who teach PE, Music, Library and Spanish. We provide an in depth educational experience by using the Core Knowledge curriculum which enhances the state requirements. We strive to inspire children to reach their individual potential.

As a public charter school we follow state requirements for testing, reporting and licensing. We have wonderful, enthusiastic, certified teachers and energized, enthusiastic student learners. We have opportunities for parents to be involved in their child's education. We have a parent organization and parental representation on the board of trustees. The administration, staff, faculty, parents and students strive to work together to create a warm, safe, and nurturing educational environment.
