My name is Jami Woodward and I am very excited to be a part of the Lincoln Academy faculty. This is my fourth year teaching and I am ready for another great 3rd grade year!
I had the great opportunity to attend Utah State University in Logan and gained my elementary education degree with an emphasis in language arts.
I love living in this area because I have many family members nearby that I can pester at any time. I am not married but I do come from a large family of six kids of which I am the youngest. I have fifteen going on 16 nieces and nephews whom I love to the moon and back. I think my love of children and teaching came from them and all the years of practice that they have given me to be their aunt.
If I were to describe myself I would have to say BUSY BODY! I am always ready to work and to have fun. I enjoy swimming, cooking, baking and crafting. You will rarely ever see me without a smile and I love to share it with everyone I come in contact with.
There is no one I will work harder for than my students. Their success means everything to me and I want to inspire and intrigue each of my students to explore and make learning fun. Within my classroom we will be a learning community. I believe that every child has great potential and we need each other to reach our goals. All of us will play a part in our community to create a fabulous atmosphere to learn in. If we work hard, have fun, follow the rules, and care about one another then there is nothing we cannot achieve.
