Being a teacher has been a dream of mine ever since I can home from my first day of kindergarten. There is no better place to be than surrounded by a group of young children. They amaze, challenge and inspire me every day and it means so much to be to be a part of their educational journey. C.S. Lewis put it best when he said, “Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.”
After high school I immediately started attending Utah State University studying Early Childhood Education. I graduated in 2016 and started my first year teaching at Lincoln Academy. Lincoln Academy really stood out to me in my job pursuing for their dedication to student success and having their focus on what is best for the children. I feel that my personal teaching philosophy fits in seamlessly with theirs. I come with so much enthusiasm and love for both teaching and children. I am dedicated and motivated to be the best teacher I can be for your children.
Apart from teaching, the piano is my biggest passion. I’ve been playing since age three and have composed my own album and still enjoy challenging myself with my music. I enjoy traveling with my family and have been privileged to visit every state in the country. I love all things chocolate, Disney and sparkly. I love rollercoasters, Dippin’ Dots and roses. I come from a great family with two very supportive parents, two older sisters, a brother-in-law, and an adorable niece and nephew. My husband has recently been added to my support team and has loved my job almost as much as I do!
I am looking forward to the wonderful experience I get to share with your children this coming year at Lincoln Academy!
