I’m so excited to be back for another year at Lincoln! I’m excited to meet the wonderful, responsible, and fun fourth graders that will be coming to our classroom. I say our classroom because your students, along with me, will be making our classroom what it is! Their ideas, intellect, personalities, experiences, and outlook will affect our classroom and I can’t wait to build the best fourth grade class with them! I love hands-on activities and will have lots of them throughout the school year. We will have a Native American Pow-Wow and a Mountain Man Rendezvous as we are learning more about the early settlers of Utah. We also melt crayons to learn about the rock cycle and use shaving cream and food coloring to learn more about clouds and the weather.
I grew up in American Fork and I am the oldest of five children. My parents have showed me the importance of effort and hard work. They also taught me how valuable having an education is and to never stop learning. I have 2 younger brothers and 2 brother-in-laws and 2 younger sisters, with 1 sister-in-law, and we love to get together and play games as often as we can. I have 5 nephews and 2 nieces who keep life interesting and a lot of fun! I graduated from American Fork High School (Go Cavemen!) and then went to Utah Valley University.
I love the outdoors! Camping is my favorite thing to do during the summer! I also love reading, traveling, kickball, baseball/softball, volleyball, hanging out with my family, playing card games or board games, Zumba, and playing the piano.
It’s been a wonderful couple of years with lots of learning taking place! I’m so grateful for the community/family feel that Lincoln has to offer from parents, faculty members, and all those who help make the school what it is. I have loved my experience in fourth grade and can’t wait to learn and grow another year with your students!
