I have been at Lincoln for nine years; the 2017-2018 school year will be my sixth year teaching. I taught in 5th grade for two years and love teaching 2nd grade. The 2nd grade team is great and I look forward to another successful year.
As a teacher I look forward to helping students learn that they “can do” anything they put their minds to. I believe Lincoln is a great school and does its best to keep up with the demands of educating children and teaching them how to excel. I love the teachers, faculty and staff who work tirelessly to achieve greatness.
I am the mother of 5 children, 4 boys who kept me on my toes and my oldest, a daughter. I don’t believe I could be as good of a teacher without being a mom first. I do know if I had been a teacher first– I would have been a better mother. They have all flown the coop- My last one will fly in May. I have enjoyed the ride and continue to enjoy learning all I can.
I believe every child can succeed if they have the support from home and school. Education is a partnership with teacher and parent and when that relationship works the child is more successful. I want every student to feel they can learn. I want each student to know they are smart and can be academically successful when they try. I look forward to the coming year to be able to see your child learn. I will do my best to teach children to love learning and believe in themselves. I look forward to learning with your children and help make them powerful thinkers.
